The SnR consortium is happy to announce its final conference, which will be preceded by a workshop on standardisation for SAR operations. Both events are open to all and free of charge and will take place on 8 and 9 May 2023 at Lavrion Technological and Cultural Park near Athens.

8 May (2-5pm) - Standardisation for SAR operations (Workshop)

This workshop will discuss the importance of standardisation in crisis management with a special focus on SAR operations. Three Cen Workshop Agreements (CWAs) will be presented and discussed during the workshop: 

  • Requirements for acquiring digital information from victims during Search and Rescue operations
  • Urban search and rescue –Guideline for the application of a test method for innovative technologies to detect victims in debris
  •  Specifications for Digital Scenarios for Search and Rescue Exercise

9 May (9am-3.30pm) - The SnR Final Conference

During the final SnR conference, we will present a summary of the results and achievements of the search and rescue project. More specifically, we will present and showcase innovative equipment and technologies that enhance first responders’ capabilities and safety during Search and Rescue operations. These solutions have been developed and fine tuned in the last 3 years and tested through 7 use cases across Europe.

The conference will be succeeded by the PSCE Conference and a CERIS event on 10-11 May 2023. More information here.
