Today, Takis Kotis represented the SnR consortium in the 2nd Secure Societies “project to policy kick off seminar” (P2PKOS). Specifically, he presented the Search & Rescue’s policies and exploitable results. The ‘PROJECT TO POLICY SEMINAR’ is a two-day policy-focused event that is organised online by REA, with 43 projects from the 2019 H2020 Security call. Representatives from the relevant projects, REA POs, EC Policy officers from DG HOME and DG CNECT, and representatives from other DGs and Agencies participated in the meeting. In this event, policies, processes and technologies were discussed on the subject of Crisis Management within EU. The overall feedback was positive and collaborative opportunities were exchanged.

Also, the first day of the seminar the organisation presented the assistance that is provided to all the EU successful projects. More specifically, the Horizon Results Boosters offers tailor-made services to assist projects to build capacity in disseminating their research results.

In general, the seminar offered a really good opportunity to learn how the European Commission can support our work on communication, dissemination and exploitation.
